It's done? I think haha!
This is what I can consider my first complete original drawing made only on photoshop with a tablet.
I spent around 5 hours on it I would say. I used some brushes from Wlop (go support him, very nice art!) for the background. I used references for the bird and the big water drops on the window. Other then that I worked with my own brush for the water effect of waterdrops (I don't know if you can really see them however).
I made the cage blurry and it was my intention. I wanted a clear focus on the bird and the cage was too important at first. So this was my solution.

Comments and critiques are very appreciated! If you like my work please go take a look at my gallery :)

First drawing with a tablet, in photoshop? You got skills girl!
It looks absolutely lovely, I especially love how the painting is focused on the bird and window, and the rest seems blurred, like on a picture :) I also love how the textures you used are the most defined outside the window, it gives a very nice effect! Also love the colors, the green and brown hues outside the window, little pink flowers and the blue bird all work well together as a nice palette! The branch outside is also a ncie addition, it really makes the painting look more full. :) In general I love the painterly technique! The bird's anatomy is spot on and I loe the sketchy style of his legs and feathers. Nice details in general :la:

What I would work on - the shadow shouldn't be a blurry patch unless the light source is dimmed, but I do see that there are some raindrops on the window, so if you didn't want to change the shadow you could add more blur to the light source(which I am guessing is outside the window) by adding more water to the window, or more raindrops which would be dimming/blurring the light. I hope that makes sense :)

I would also work on texturing the windowsill, even though it looks great! I would add the smallest little cracks or pieces of dust in some places, or even a light grain-type texture.

Other than that this is an absolutely wonderful piece, you got lots of talent! Keep it up! :)
